The core team of Finex Hong Kong Limited consists of people who work together for almost 10-20 years. Before setting up or joining the company, they held several top executive positions at Luxembourg-based/Hong Kong-based banks or financial institutions.

Michael joined Finex Hong Kong Limited with overall responsibility for the SFC Type 1, 4 & 9 activities.
Prior to Finex, he was CEO of Instanza Capital Limited (previous Degroof Petercam Asset Management (HK) Limited), responsible for managing and supervising the business of Type 9 regulated activity.
Michael was also appointed as CEO of OP Investment Management Limited, a Hong Kong based Asian Investment Management Company and concurrently a Director and Authorised Representative of Mastermind Capital Limited (HKEX: 905), a Listed Investment company. During his time at OPIM he was also the SVP of Risk at their JV partner, Arbah Capital, based in Saudi Arabia. He has also held roles at Credit Agricole Asset Management Hong Kong Limited (Asian Asset Management Arm of Credit Agricole) where he was a Director and Regional Head of Operations, Risk & Compliance. He began his career in Chemical bank (now JP Morgan Chase) in Foreign Exchange and Treasury Services before moving to Natwest Markets (Corporate & Investment Banking arm of National Westminster Bank Plc) where he held various roles including Head of Compliance – Wheelock Natwest and Natwest Markets, Hong Kong and Assistant Director – Compliance (seconded originally to work on the Blue Arrow trial). He has a BA (Hons) in accounting & Finance, is a full Member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute, a Member of the Committee of Inspection for Peregrine Derivatives Limited and has been an expert witness for legal case involving leading global Investment Bank. He is a member Global Association of Risk Professionals and a Director of Cayman, UCITs and AIF structures where he is also a Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) registered Director.
Jacky is a Director and Responsible Officer of the Company.
Mr. Sze has over 10 years of experience in financial market specializing on Investment.
Before joining Finex, he worked as a Portfolio Manager having over 500M HKD in assets under management, at a family office in liaison with a listed company, reporting directly to the CEO.
From 2013 to 2015, he acted as a Head of Trading in 2 Local Hedge Fund Houses of around 100M USD assets under management. Both Fund houses underwent Long-Short Strategic with Focus on Greater China. Mr Sze created his own Portfolio Management system from the experience he gained in Fund industry. He is also knowledgeable on the whole operational process of the Fund.
Lili is the managing director of the company, in charge of the investors’ relationship.
She is an expert in Luxembourg domiciled Fund and company structuring and she has overall experience in setting up and managing licensed corporations in Hong Kong.
Prior to Finex, her career has taken her through ING Luxembourg S.A. in the Finance Department and Finexis S.A. – a licensed Management Company and Alternative Investment Fund Manager as Relationship Officer for Asian and French Investors. During this time in Luxembourg, Lili gained and enriched her client relationship experience in public and private placement and asset management, mainly via investment funds (UCITS, SIF, SICAR, RAIFs etc).
As the pioneer of the Company, Lili moved to Hong Kong in 2017 to help the Luxembourg Group to establish Finex Hong Kong Limited and is currently and mainly responsible for the client relationship.
Lili has a Bachelor in French applied to finance and economics from Wuhan University of Technology, and she spent more than 6 years in Europe (France and Luxembourg). She obtained two Master Degrees overseas: one in Financial controls and audit from ESM-IAE Business School and the other in International Finance and Management from University of Lorraine.
Lili is a native Chinese speaker, fluent in French and English and has a professional level of Cantonese.
Monique is the Responsible Officer of the Company.
Monique has been working in Banking and Finance industry for about 20 years. She has obtained Certified Financial Planner CM from The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong since 2011. She had been Relationship Manager to perform asset management for high net worth customers at premier bank centre for 5 years.
Prior to Finex, she has been Director and Responsible Officer in a securities brokerage company. She has also been the Manager-In-Charge of ‘overall management oversight’ to supervise the whole operation of the company.
Chris has developed and established one of the largest APAC, specifically South Korea-focused, private placement and advisory platforms for Finex.
Prior to Finex, Chris co-founded and developed a new Asia-focused private placement platform for SBI China Capital where he developed a strong South Korea and Greater China-focused fundraising sales team with the main focus on credit, infrastructure, and private equity buyout managers in the US and EU markets.
Prior to that, he worked for Standard Life Investments’ alternative platform, a Pan-European alternative manager with an AUM of ard USD 12 billion across private equity, infrastructure, credit, and co-investment strategies. He managed and developed institutional investors across APAC.
Chris is also an experienced entrepreneur, having worked with numerous start-ups and established several hard asset platforms.
Robert strengthened the Placement and Advisory business in US and EU for Finex Hong Kong Limited in 2019, by covering Family Office/Multi-Family Offices, Institutions, and Wealth Management/Private Banking relationships.
Robert has over 19 years of alternative investment experience working across public and private markets in both New York and Hong Kong. He is also the Founder of BridgeWood International, an alternative investment consulting firm in Hong Kong and placement firm in the US through an affiliation with a licensed broker dealer in the US. Prior to founding BridgeWood, Robert was the COO and Head of Business Development at Factorial Management Limited in Hong Kong, and overall has spent the past 9 years in Asia as the Head of Business Development for several alternative investment funds.
Before moving to Asia in 2010, Robert was based in New York with the UBS Alternative Investment Group from 2000 to 2005 before moving to UBP Asset Management where he led the distribution sales team. Robert earned a BA from Wake Forest University. He also holds the designation of a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Tom is the head of the sales in the APAC Region, and also Expert on Fund/Company Structuring.
He has more than 25 years experience both managing and trading portfolios on behalf of his previous companies.
He has been the sole manager of several trading books in excess of $1bln USD. Market maker for select bond sector for Citi Global Markets and Salomon Smith Barney. His duties have included trading and execution of his book as well as advising institutional clients on the appropriateness of buying or selling the particular fixed income products.

Prior to joining Finex HK, Janice worked at ION Group, where she was responsible for client relationship management in Dealogic’s APAC debt capital markets and ION Derivatives, serving mainly investment bankers and buy-side brokers.
Janice holds a Master of Arts with Honours in Business Management from the University of Edinburgh. She is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

Jesse holds a MBA from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Tourism from Kyonggi University. He is fluent in Korean and English.

Prior to joining Finex, You Jin was a equity derivatives sales analyst for Leonteq Securities Limited (HK) where she offered investments solutions for Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong institutions. She also spent time with UBS Securities and Deutsche Bank in Korea within the sales and support role function.
You Jin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Yonsei University. She is fluent in Korean and English.

Prior to joining Finex, Avinash worked at Citi Asia by providing clients with trends in the markets and how to invest in partnership with Citi Asia. At Esquire Financing Inc, FORUM Capital, and LSF Global HK, Avinash provided research and marketing support to senior managers.
Avinash holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Economics, Finance, and International Business from Oxford Brookes University.
David is focused on listed equities and fixed income.
Prior to Finex, he worked at Degroof Asset Management (HK) Ltd and at OP Investment Management (HK) Ltd, where he was the Chief Investment Officer.
He has over 25 years of fund management experience in positions held at CITIC Securities International, Aetos Capital Management Asia, Prudential Asset Management (HK), Fortis Investment Management Asia and Chase Asset Management (HK).
David is a member of the Investment Committee of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which makes investment decisions for the university’s endowment fund, and previously a member of the Listing Committee of the HK Stock Exchange.
David holds a BSc (Econ) in Monetary Economics from the London School of Economics and an MA in Economics from York University, Canada.
